Please take care and practice common sense prevention methods in this time of viral concerns and the spreading of sickness, YET join us in worship this coming Sabbath Day, July 5th as WE HAVE RETURNED to holding public worship services at our church facilities but continue providing social media services for those unable to make it. LORD willing we are recording and LIVE STREAMING with the congregation present THIS Sunday, July 5th. We hope you will be able to join us! Please provide yourself and family members of 3 years of age and older, proper face masks or coverings, there will be proper social distancing but families will be grouped together, medical exemptions are understood. There is plenty of room for many with proper social distancing.
We thank you for your prayers and continue to ask you to join us in prayer that God will allow His people, if it be His will, for us to once more assemble in peace without restrictions and unnecessary or unwarranted fears. Take great note that such liberty given by God is precious and we should always give thanks for it. Certainly this famine of assembling together is a great lesson for us never to forget and take for granted liberties God grants us through His institution of the State and upheld and watched over by His seated leaders. Let us pray that God would provide and seat god fearing righteous men in power to protect the civil liberties we have held in this nation for hundreds of years.
This Sunday morning Pastor Gangar breaks temporarily from the series begun last week on the book of the minor prophet Joel, and addresses Independence Day in our nation with the text being Genesis 11:1-9 the sermon is entitled: Divided Nations.
In the Evening service we look into the text Matthew 20:16-30, the sermon being entitled: The Place of Our Good Work, while also looking into the Heidelberg Catechism’s Lord’s Day 24.
The video worship services we produce can be found on Face Book page Trinity United Reformed Church of Walnut Creek and should be available LIVE using the FaceBook app (available on Google Play) at 10am and 5pm, and posted YouTube videos will be uploaded sometime after the Sunday services. Audio mp3’s are currently uploaded later in the week as they are temporarily extracted from the live stream later.
May your hearts be strengthened in Christ by His Word and the Holy Spirit! Amen.
“And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works: Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the Day approaching.” Hebrews 10:24-25 KJV
